Which Personal Information do we collect from you?

icotec collects the following categories of Personal Information:

  • Personal and contact details (for example, name, email address, telephone number); and
  • Other information that you voluntarily enter on the Website’s contact form.

Certain state laws deem IP address as Personal Information. As mentioned under (ii) of the Section “How do we collect your Personal Information?”, the IP addresses that we collect are anonymized.

icotec processes information we collect from you on the Website (including Personal Information) for the following purposes:

  • Quality and management purposes. To monitor, improve and analyze the quality and use of our Website, services, processes, and systems; to inform our management and perform internal reviews; and

Icotec does not disclose your Personal Information to third parties. Note that the companies in the icotec group may disclose Personal Information to each other and process such disclosed Personal Information.

How do we protect your Personal Information?

We have implemented both technical and organizational measures designed to protect your Personal Information against accidental loss, theft and unauthorized access. Examples are firewalls and protocols for web security.

We strive to continually improve our security measures in case of technological advances and developments. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We use cookies and other technologies (e.g., pixels, tags) (collectively, the “Cookies”) on our Website. The purpose of the use of Cookies is to simplify the use of the Website for the Website’s visitors. We have activated the IP anonymization feature on the Website. Your IP address will be shortened by Google. Google Tag Manager

We may use Google Tag Manager on the Website. Google Tag Manager is a tag management system (TMS) that allows us to manage tags on the Website. This tool does not use cookies and according to Google, no Personal Information is being collected through or by the Google Tag Manager. This tool allows for the release of other tags which may, under certain circumstances, collect Personal Information. Google Tag Manager does not access such Personal Information. You can prevent the setting of tags at any time by deactivating tagging at the domain or cookie level.

Google Search Console

Our Website uses the web analytical service Google Search Console. It is a service offered by Google that helps us monitor, manage and optimize the Website’s presence in Google search results. In connection with the use of Google Search Console, no Personal Information is being processed nor transferred to Google.
