The DGA519Z is equipped with safety paddle type switch, electric brake for increased operator safety, removable dust covers, tool-less wheel cover for quick and easy adjustment, installation and removals and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to over-discharge, overheating and overload current. The side handle can be installed on either side of the Angle Grinder for user convenience. DGA519Z is additionally equipped with Anti-Restart Function to prevent the motor starting up when the battery is insered with the switch locked on, Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) to automatically change the cutting speed according to the load condition and Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) to shut down the Angle Grinder's motor to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down or is suddenly forced to stop. The DGA519Z features X-LOCK mechanism to allow for quick and easy wheel installations and removals with a single action without a tool, preventing over-tightening and under-tightening of the nut; X-LOCK accessories are firmly attached and cannot be mounted incorrectly. The X-LOCK wheel can be easily removed by simply pulling the lever. X-LOCK accessories (not included) are compatible with conventional Makita Angle Grinders. DGA519Z is not compatible with G-Series batteries. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase.
